Brown Fused Alumina
Brown fused alumina is produced through the high temperature smelting of bauxite coke in an electric arc furnace. Following the sorting of raw materials, electrolytic smelting, crushing, ferromagnetic separation, screening, physical and chemical inspection, as well as finished product packaging and warehousing processes are carried out. Brown fused alumina grinding is derived from a combination of bauxite and coke. This brown corundum is produced by refining high-quality bauxite in an electric arc furnace at temperatures exceeding 2000°C. With its exceptional purity, well-formed crystals, excellent fluidity, low linear expansion coefficient, and resistance to corrosion, brown corundum serves as the ideal aggregate and filler for brown corundum refractories.
